PRSF enables KlangHaus to create world-class recordings

We are excited to announce that PRSF are supporting our field recordings from our forthcoming live shows in the ceiling of the Royal Festival Hall. There will be 40 performances of KlangHaus: 800 Breaths in July 2017.

‘One show that truly delivers the shock of the new, the most innovative presentation of live music I have ever seen- a total game-changer’ The Guardian

The field recordings will be tranferred to Manchester’s Eve Studios with producer David Pye to authentically capture the atmosphere of the live experience for vinyl release.

We hope this will become an ongoing way of working. KlangHaus has already sold out over 100 shows and been hailed as an innovation in the presentation of live music. Now we intend to extend this into our recording process. This PRSF grant will enable us to turn these intentions into a reality.’

KlangHaus audiences have described the experience as, ‘like being inside the music’, and in a five star review The Times called it ‘a blast of aural magic’

We have a world-class show and this necessitates world-class recordings. We have chosen to work with David Pye for his attention to detail and innovation – collaboration that wouldn’t be possible without the wonderful support of PRSF’
