Space Spec & Tech Spec InHaus

Space – Minimum 10m x 12m (Audience 35)

Note: These assume a totally open and clear space. Things like cupboards, pillars, adjoining rooms, mezzanines, raised areas, alcoves, bay windows, corner pockets, ante-chambers etc all add interest and flavour to the show but can limit capacity.

In addition there is equipment, instruments, and visual tech in the room – often disguised as or used as furniture.

Power – Stable electricity supply

The Room – can be carpeted, two entrances are often useful, and since the show is loud, some soundproofing is advisable if you have other shows running nearby.

Surfaces – Big clear walls light coloured for projections are desirable. Further compartmentalisation with our own screens. Floating ceilings are not ideal but can be worked with.

Green Room – An ‘offstage’ small room that we can use as a green room / dressing room serves both shows well.

Combined Show – DARKROOM fits well inside INHAUS, hidden within the same room.
